Local Museums/LandmarksThe Williamsville Water Mill, built in 1811, is one of the oldest commercial buildings still in use in Erie County. Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village displays important artifacts from the community’s earliest days as well as interactive programs and lessons. The Scottish Festival each summer is its biggest event.
Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital is just 3 miles north of Main Street. Students here attend either Williamsville Central School District schools or one of several nearby private elementary or secondary schools. The North Campus of the State University at Buffalo is easily accessed by the Youngmann Highway.
Route I-290, also known as the Youngmann Memorial Highway, connects the Village with Niagara Falls Boulevard to the west and the New York State Thruway (I-90) to the east.
